Benefits of Yin Yoga
There is a lot that we can share with you on the benefits of Yin Yoga but unfortunately this does not all fit on one page. So in short; Yin Yoga is about holding poses for a longer amount of time (3-8 minutes) where your main goal is to get more flexible. However, we believe its biggest benefit is that it allows us to slow down.
We have experienced that Yin Yoga can slow us down. ‘But why would I want to?’ some of you might ask. The answer is that we believe that everyone needs to slow down from time to time in order to feel what is actually happening in our body, mind and heart. Only when we sit still, breathe consciously, meditate and observe what is going on in the moment, can we truly move forward from a place of clarity.
Let things be
Accept what is going on in your own body, mind and heart. This way you allow yourself to live life for what it is. So, even though the cliche tells you to ‘let things go’, Yin Yoga teaches us to LET THINGS BE. To let things be is a whole lot easier, believe us!
