No really, it is right under our noses and we have it at our disposal at all times, and we often forget about it completely. Our breath is with us at all times and it is THE tool to use to calm ourselves down. Use your breath to slow yourself down. How?

Quality of our breath
The slower our breath goes, the slower our mind goes. In the Yoga classes they often say that the quality of our breath tells us more about the quality of our practice. Now is this true for our breath during a Yin Yoga practice?
Most probably yes, … but what I do know is that I find it easier to let my mind focus on my breath than to let it run freely. Also the more I focus on it, the slower it goes and the calmer I feel. It also gives me a focus and it improves my concentration. Thus how can we best use our breath during a Yin Yoga practice? That is for you to find out!
